Easy Peasy Ramadan Mosaics

Buy some air dry clay and pre-cut mosaic glass or buy glass tiles and cut them yourself. I didn’t want to spend $15 on a glass tile cutting tool so I bought pre-cut kind. Roll the clay out to a medium thickness, use a cookie cutter for the shape, then stick on the glass pieces. Once its dried (probably within

Pipe Cleaner Shapes Activity

I was trying to think of alternative ideas to put in goody bags for S’ Qur’an class and was browsing Pinterest. An image of a pipe cleaner came up for something unrelated but it gave me a great idea…stick a couple pipe cleaners in the goody bags and let kids make them into shapes! Continent Map Folder

My intention is to do more geography work with S. He knows the continents by name but is iffy about their locations, so I created a continent map folder. I bought map files from Montessori Print Shop and printed out the continents in large scale as well as map labels. I got one folder and added a third panel (cut

“Me on the Map” Geography Blocks

This next project is perfect for going along with the Me On The Map book. I saw this cool idea at Kingdom of the Pink Princesses. You can also do a simpler version like this here. I bought the Melissa & Doug Alphabet Nesting & Stacking Blocks. I painted over the existing pictures using some black tempera paint with a paintbrush.
